The diesel-driven HDS800 makes light work of the toughest hardwoods, quartering Gum and Ironbark at the flick of a lever. Its dual-position design allows horizontal or vertical splitting, so there’s no need to lift heavy rounds onto the beam. A removable working table keeps multiple logs within easy reach and can be detached to reduce the unit’s overall width for storage. The detachable 4-way wedge produces four splits from a single log and swaps out in seconds—no bolts required.

Power from the large four-stroke diesel is delivered through a patented DirectDrive system that eliminates vibration and servicing. Rugged 16-inch all-terrain tyres and a 50 mm Australian-standard coupling mean the HDS800 can be towed almost anywhere.

Only two genuine twin-line hydraulic hoses are used, protected by the patented HoseGuard™ spiral that keeps lines neatly in place and shielded during transport. An oversized oil filter guards against particle contamination—the number‑one cause of ram failure—and replacements are available at any auto‑accessory retailer.
